seems like it's going to be another recap-of-the-week post. ie extremely long post. don't bother ploughing through it.

monday. besides getting the typical monday blues, i went to get a referral letter from the mo in my camp so that i could make an appointment with a saf dental centre. after waiting for like hours, he saw me for less than a minute. he's definitely the laziest and one of the worst mo i have seen so far. hope i never see him again if he becomes a private doctor. for those who don't know, surprise surprise i still have 3 baby teeth. which basically is going to pose a problem to me when they fall out. and one of them seems to be threatening to do just that. it's too much of a long story.

tuesday. sian.

wednesday. nothing noteworthy either. ran into my ld junior, melvin and a great grandjunior on a really rare trip on bus 74 home. must be divine coincidence. yeah i know i know i'm a j4. shucks i'm still not very comfortable wearing my no.4 in public in front of my friends.

thursday. horrors of horrors. my friend who's been fetching me to camp fell sick again and notified me only in the morning. i actually called up a cab since i woke up too late to take a bus. blew around 13 bucks (gasp). the rehearsal for friday's ssm parade was horrible. my legs were shaking while the ssm rattled on for god-knows-how-long. met up with weng lock for a great dinner at j8 and blew close to 20 bucks on valen hsu's wo ai ye. ran into my cousin who was promoting the free one-day trial test for acuvue contact lenses. he's a stay-in nsf and he was working since he got his off. which makes me wonder - what the hell am i doing during after-camp hours when i'm staying out?

friday. i did something which in retrospect was quite daring but i'm not going to elaborate since it's got to do with some in-camp matters. can only say i am really getting apathetic. my iveco course concluded on a boring note, which translates to completing about a third of my practical course in oeti. god help me i know nuts! it's the land rover next week and hope i get a good instructor who motivates me.

the entire week was a fantastically rainy week, it's supposedly the rainiest january in like 30 years. i'm not complaining though. the weekday live runs were cancelled. my camp was filled with the smell of cum, much to the amusement and disgust of my platoonmates and i. the now-famous chinese guy who sang she bangs on american idol 3 has now become some sort of an idol in my camp too. albeit in all the wrong ways.

today has been a typical saturday. thought i'd be out after camp to get a couple of presents for friends. but the plans fell through. hell i'm happy having free time to myself anyway. i can sleep and watch my vcds and listen to my music and burn cds later anyway. perhaps i'll even catch a movie at j8 later if there's time. myself.

i didn't catch the golden globes. i think i might for the oscars and grammys. anyway seems like there aren't many hotshots coming to sg for the mtvaa. at least they don't really interest me, except boa, michelle branch and perhaps the black eyed peas. oh and faye wong's coming to singapore for an autograph session. is the ice queen finally melting?

i've quite a handful of music on my hands to listen to. fish leong's compilation is really not bad at all. didn't know she sang mayday's cai hong too, which is my favourite song by the band. her take is nice too though a bit funny. my friend lent me buddha bar - my first attempt at listening to chillout. think i'm going to be borrowing boa's love & honesty and grammy nominees 2004 next week. hardly listened to mi century yet. haven't even touched wo ai ye.
