2007 so far

the bad sleeping habits, heaty food, crazy rains and all that going out have finally taken a toll on me. been down with a cold for the past two days.

if my x'mas was quiet, well, my new year's eve was no different. still, i was still glad i was able to wake up in time to send wl off on new year's day despite his abnormally early flight. if things go well, i'll be going over to visit in a couple of months anyway (but no promises). after that went over to the tampines ikea/courts with the family. it was crowded as hell. the new ikea is huge and anyone including non-fans should really go there at least once.

the next day, i got to catch up with clement, pq, kerin and lynette over lunch at vila'ge, before cle left for hongkong. i would post better pics if i had but unfortunately, i have met my match in terms of reluctance to pose for a camera:






that's pretty hard to match up to, in my opinion.

anyway after that we hung around to talk for a while more before i ended up as the only one from us who went down to cheryl's 21st birthday party. there was scott, jane, sl, and xj though, so it wasn't so bad. anyway hope she had a memorable time (cheryl, you might also like to know that your presents were costly. haha).

i'm probably gonna stay home these couple of days just to catch up on old dvds and nap instead of going out spending. don't even feel like doing the sums but i have spent a lot these holidays, which wasn't exactly the original plan. well, being sick gives me the perfect excuse to laze at home before school starts.
