hols rock. period.

even if the moment i boarded the bus for bishan swimming complex today, it started to rain.
even if i did nothing but walk around bugis today.
even if i've largely spent the last few days rotting in front of the computer or tv.
even if i've procrastinated in starting to do the thousand things i want to accomplish this hols.
even if i spent and spent eating desserts, like last sat. (& tks wl for the belated bday gift!)
even if everything above is gonna repeat itself again. and again.
even if i lose a sense of purpose after the exams. (it's weird to think 108 was a week back.)
even if i should be looking for a part-time job.

anyways. i was at kino today and read tim burton's the melancholy death of oyster boy and other stories. and i found it really interesting. it's a collection of poems, all highly imaginative and rhyming nicely, with illustrations by burton himself. most are funny but almost always tragic. it almost makes me want to write. i think the mind behind edward scissorhands and such is so damn intriguing.

on the other hand 16 storeys wasn't too bad a watch last sat as well. minus the cliches, it's an action movie with a fair deal of heart. then again, i'm so out of touch with movies that probably anything is good to me. ok i need to watch more movies.

and even though i'm not into this kind of stuff, shall just respond to mh who tagged me. haha.. anyway the habits/things u put up weren't weird at all, if you're reading this.

1) i talk to myself a lot? not to the extent of holding a conversation with myself of course. i end up cussing at myself when i do something stupid, which happens to be often. sigh.

2) i used to like reading newspapers in the reverse order, ie from last page front..but less often now.

3) urm i'm not picky about food but i'd never eat fish skin if i had a choice. ok i feel really stupid saying that.

4) i hardly pick up my handphone while i'm at home cuz i usually leave it on silent mode. guess i'm one of those who believe in having some space and not getting tracked down from anywhere by hp. and yes i think i can survive without one, really.

5) i always have my earplugs and cds/mp3s playing in my ear at some point in the day every day. even at home. haha.

6) i better stop revealing stuff in case i'm sounding like a freak. hmm. i don't usually feel good spending on clothes, books, etc.. but i have no qualms splurging on cds and dvds?
