my blog was officially a year old yesterday!

so i took time to read through all my old posts. and realise
1. i seldom sound energetic or optimistic
2. my memory really is failing. i can't remember all the finer details or the exact time when some event happened.
3. time flies.

as of now, the confirmed death toll from the quake has surpassed the 70 000 mark and surely rising as i type this. surreal? some of the footage on tv news can get really heart-wrenching. like that of a hysterical mother screaming as she holds the lifeless body of her child. of parents/siblings losing grip of their family members one by one in the tsunami-induced floods. even the recent grace chow's blog really puts things into perspective.

my point is, some of us so often forget how privileged we really are, me included of course. guess i should just stop moaning ever so often. in light of everything around us, it just sounds so trivial doesn't it?
