it's been a while since i felt the week pass so agonizingly slow. not least cuz i've been feeling like crap from a really bad cold for the past many days. i know i was getting the symptoms before that but i think it was getting soaked in the rain last sunday that really did me in.

that was when i caught before sunset. basically it's not wrong to say it's 80 minutes worth of non-stop jabbering from ethan hawke and julie delpy. but the sheer chemistry and credibility makes it more romantic then so many other movies of the we-meet-then-fall-in-love-go-through-trials-and-tribulations-and-end-up-happy-together genre. and i'll say it's worth the ticket price. also i've just changed my mind and i wanna watch the incredibles .

and i also on friday night i went for another mlm talk courtesy of zf at shaw towers. i admit it's very inspiring and the idea of making money can be really tempting. but it's definitely tougher than it seems. i doubt i can commit myself even part-time, given how much of a sloth i am.

it's also been a pretty quiet weekend. except perhaps going to the singapore motorshow 2004 at suntec city. which isn't something i'd initiate since i'm not really into motoring. i know you'd think sleek cars are supposed to be a guy's thing and i'm a goddamn technician at that. i can't tell the civics from the camrys or the lancers. but have to say i'm on my way to being a convert after seeing all the cool sedans and sport cars and whatnot with jason and poon. the highlight was watching stuntman russ swift perform his jawdropping stunts in his subaru impreza. and taking one of the free stunt rides. it was mine-blowing. we took a shot up close with him and he voluntarily signed autographs too. now if only i could just see how my photo with the honda model (human, not car) turned out.

everyone seems to be hatching some sort of plan to go overseas. morris and gang is contemplating to go hongkong before year-end. wm wants to go hongkong after ord. the oeti gang wants to go australia for a major 1 month long road trip after ord. and i remember that promise over a year ago to go overseas, perhaps malaysia with my bmt buddies. wonder if they do. will it happen? dammit by the time i disrupt my ns, all my former classmates would be starting university like me and by the time the oeti gang go overseas i'd be smack in the middle of my studies. i know i said i'd talk about my recent malaysia trip more but i'm too lazy as usual. it wasn't that exciting anyway. i want another exciting holiday!

i want my holiday. i want my holiday le grandeur (remember?).
