what a boring and short weekend. got home only this morning cuz i had orderly duty yesterday and slept all the way till 1:45pm. my first and it wasn't bad. duty on saturday always feels so peaceful. hah. managed to get past half of rich dad, poor dad and it is an insightful book.

so the most happening thing of the weekend had to be the formation anniversary dinner in friday. despite the claims of "because budget cut" which didn't allow the dinner to be held outside of camp, it was still a pretty well-organised affair. food was good, atmosphere was good. theme was "back to the 60s" so it was all quite retro but most of us didn't dress for the occasion. of course there were still some dressed to kill. quite literally. our co wore khaki policewear complete with short pants and knee-height socks.. should've watched out for the fashion police himself. and another warrant officer looked more like a female chinese vampire with her cheenah outfit and clogs. anyway since our unit was organiser this year, we had to stay after dinner to do damn siong saikang like helping the mdc move loads of their bloody heavy equipment down the stairs. wound up home past midnight. stefanie was released on the same day but no chance to buy yet. ya it's totally irrelevant.

well at least i have next weekend to look forward to..the genting trip! i will survive this week man.
