i am so addicted to chewing gum. fine me. anyway today's officially thaipusam as well as the last day of the chinese new year. i caught a bit of the thaipusam procession near the selegie/tekka area on my bus home. you know, the guys with the needles thrust into their bodies really look quite cool.

tuesday was a hell of a shag. the morning was a horrible rush from camp to get an off-pass, to mindef dental centre. it was quite fun really, felt like some sort of an amelie-style misadventure. the mindef base is really huge. anyway i already sort of expected what my dentist would say about my tooth. don't know why i bothered to get an appointment. basically all he did after was to clean my inflammed gum around that tooth and i on my part was spitting loads of blood dutifully.

after that i took my lunch outside before going back to camp. as usual i hardly slept during my guard duty that night. i got a horrible shock when i found out who the duty officer was. he's a very famous monster. i think tam nearly fainted since it was his second time getting that do. that night proved to be another harrowing experience for him too...heh. thank heavens the turnout took place when i was on my sentry shift, so i didn't have to join in. i really think luck is on my side when it comes to army matters.

i'm still wondering if i should go to faye wong's autograph session. and damn i think my future unit is a stay-in one. should've learnt driving long ago. and i am also quite tempted to buy a second-hand acoustic guitar from andy when i can't even play (or pay). so many things to do. so much time wasted not doing them. just what is wrong with me?
