happy chinese new year! after yesterday's ultra-slack half day in camp which consisted of a lousy lion dance performance, i was hoping to watch some movie or he sui pian like magic kitchen in the afternoon but sadly i moved from lido to cine to ps and not a single timing was suitable. never mind that, i had a nice lunch and bought sound of colors and hidden track vcds from poh kim which summed up to be really cheap.

yesterday's reunion dinner at my grandma's house didn't really feel like one. perhaps it's some of the relatives who only flashed their faces for a while and left. or maybe it's just me. i watched the lion roars, an old he sui pian from 1 or 2 years back on the new chinese star movies channel and that is like the best thing i did last night. you know, i'd so rather be anti-social and love having more time to myself over this long weekend. like playing the ps2, watching school of rock, watching all the vcds i bought. or just hang out with friends instead of having my parents leaving me in the lurch while they gamble si sek. oops and last but not least read my automotive theory. rather than engage in stupid banter with my relatives and getting dumb questions like whether i'm still in jc, or worse still already in uni, or how old i am, or how much i've grown when i've stopped growing taller for 4 years or whether i've gotten a girlfriend. yuck.
