pretty tired right now, but i figured i'd better post the obligatory weekend post before pre-monday blues set in. gonna try to keep things short.

we celebrated juli's belated birthday just now at sentosa, even though by the time we reached there it was already 3 plus in the afternoon. the dry spell was broken by rain in the morning..i think this was the coolest day in weeks. some coincidence. then played volleyball but i was really too lazy to be active in the game. we dilly-dallied around after and had pasta at harbourfront centre where jov joined us. the birthday gift was a dkny watch that was pretty elegant. i guess the initial plans for a full day out at sentosa didn't turn out quite as exciting as expected but still, it ended on a warm note.

check it out..7-eleven is giving out free hello kitty magnets. except they kinda look more like condom packets. cheers to wk for pointing that out. even i was fooled at first glance. undoubtedly the biggest joke of the day.

definitely thankful for the weekend. february has been a whirlwind of events. this week was no exception. it's been an exhausting week with coc parade rehearsals on every single day, a spec duty on thurs and culminated in unit anniversary on friday night. much as we once scoffed at the idea of holding it in camp, it was unexpectedly not bad at all. i guess, again, many people really put in effort to make things work. anyway finally our stage performance's settled..while it's a load off the mind, our private rehearsals had actually been kinda fun. and the driver pang was a total hoot in the cross dressing segment.

quizzed on what he would do if he was crowned miss lsu (my unit) - "have beds in all the vehicles".

and i thought there was actually some semblance of a family as i saw laughter among the regulars and the unity within some of the departments. i think i will miss this place after all.

but give me my freedom anytime, thank you.
