and ed's gone.

it wasn't like dramatic or very emotional. more like a sincere hearty farewell from well-wishers and friends. there were quite a lot of people there to say goodbye. but i guess it's only when someone's really gone that you really start to recount the days spent together. gonna miss old ed man.. and i think some other guys are pretty affected about his departure. a good guy like him is hard to come by.

chongwai was there too. said hi. and later saw some old friends too. maybe friend is not the word. was pissed off by someone who was telling my classmate behind my back that i'm just some mugger back in secondary school. w.t.f. like you ever did know me that well.

anyway for some strange reason.. i like the airport. a place where people sometimes cry when sending off their loved ones. a place where people smile when they greet friends in the arrival hall. a place where planes come and go. i always like the bus ride to the airport, long as it may be. somehow gives me a sense of peace as the bus leaves behind the clustered buildings of the city.. and perhaps the feeling of escape.

some sentimental crap huh.
