saturday to sunday. got a bit cheated by joven into helping out at the smu lion dance event. was some talk-cum-demo superbly-named the mystical lion by margaret chan. funny bit #1: margaret chan mistook shihui for a 'young man'. then went for hc's maf. ahh it's been a year since i went there botak. the turnout isn't good compared to previous years. but it was good seeing the see-you-once-or-twice-a-year-people like zq and venki. anyway i hadn't laughed so hard in a while - funny bit #2: i spotted a wm-lookalike and also we recalled my angel nickname during the angel-mortal game in j2. we stayed over free at sheraton towers since ed got lobang again. ed's leaving for uk on 1st oct and the girls decorated the room and hid themselves while we had supper at newton circus (ya it's supposed to be kind of a farewell party). anyway instead of getting a surprise, ed got a bit spooked cos he wondered who had broken in and jacky cheung was playing in the background. and then we had ice cream mooncakes which i thought tasted weird on first bite but actually were addictive. the girls' stories of their faculty fright nights sounded truly frightful. anyway so we stayed over, watched guessx3 together in the morning, had brunch at scotts' food court. that's the life man. anyway gonna kind of miss ed when he goes...want to be there at the airport to send him off.

officially my first long weekend since the start of the 5 day work week..kinda well spent too.
friday. had our formation x country at turf city! for some weird reason i'm always picked to do saikang and ended up as some sort of route marshall again and no i'm not on status. beats doing work at camp anyway and i heard our ic was in a foul mood. woohoo. it was quite interesting cos for some weird reason i ended up talking to an indian security guard, his relative and a bangra cleaner. anyway the guard constantly made snide comments at the runners which was exhilarating since making fun of a superior would be suicide for me.
this week there's gonna be chiong sua.
