bright sunny sunday.

after my usual bout of blog-surfing these couple of days, somehow it seems like things haven't been going too smooth for some friends. like how they have been undergoing personal crises of sorts. or that they've been doing a lot of thinking. i used to think i must be one of the few people around who kept torturing myself with my own thoughts and thinking too much but well, guess i'm not alone. all i can say is.. i'm determined not to be a quitter (even though i may be a slacker. haha. that needs some changing too).

anyway time for the usual narrative bit. i couldn't get my off approved this monday even though i have guard duty on tuesday and have to clear the off by wednesday. because too many people have been quicker than me in getting their off approved and the fact that not too many people are allowed to get their off on the same day. just can't help thinking some people can be so self-centred. well i am going to get my off on wednesday however bo hua it sounds just because i get to see such people 1 less day and i've worked that out to be more worth it than a long weekend, you arses.

anyway the large part of friday was spent frying you tiao in camp for that warrant (yeah, after the chicken rice episode, and stop laughing at me), which was okay. moving on, i met up with cheewei and jack on friday night, which was good. very late, cos of the in-camp bbq. we had pasta fresca for dinner (mm..) and then haagen daas for dessert (yum..) which was good. and yesterday had dinner at kenny roger's (oooh..) with the jc people, which was also good, before watching new police story at bugis, which was okay. i'm convinced charlene choi just has to have her very own act-cute scene in every movie she does.

it rained as i was halfway through this post. now it's bright and sunny again.
