i had a blast of a saturday yesterday! though i was like rushing from one place to another the entire time..

after a comparatively slack half-day at work, i had a quick lunch at the lousy eating house outside nee soon camp with poon. then i rushed home but was so slow as usual i only managed to leave house around 2. which was the time i told the oeti gang i would reach sentosa. oh well. i was still so tired from guard duty on thurs so i was like nodding off on the bus to harbourfront. wondering if i should even be going. but well it was good seeing the guys after i reached sunset bay. i didn't join in the volleyball and soccer games so as not to embarass myself. but anyway lay around talking crap, tanning a little bit and chilling in the water (it's a stupid pun but yes the water was cold). it was really relaxing. fhm was having a scout for their 'girl next door' and shooting pics. bah.. like girls next door wear two piece bikinis. none of those on stage really stood out anyway. hoobastank was coming in the evening too.. apparently i just found out meihui went to the gig with her bf. had to leave early to bathe but there was such a long queue in the toilet..argh..

..which meant i would be late meeting the jc guys for dinner at newton circus, so i decided i'd take a cab and eat takeaway mac's on it. even though i was the one who did the planning, for once. as i rushed it seemed like everything was going against me. a guy asked me to take pics for his group of friends. when i reached harbourfront i found i didn't have enough cash for my dinner since i forgot to take my 50 bucks from alvin l. then i couldn't find the atm. then after i did, i still had to wait for my order at mac's. ok this is getting too detailed and whiney. anyway we finally met up for yock's ntu production, eat a bowl of bonbons at alliance francais. i thought it was a bit boring overall actually but there were interesting bits lah. i managed to get sel in for the last bit of the plays since he was late. they got flowers and the hc bear for yock. ed is just so rich. anyway we had a fantastic supper at newton circus and laming around..i still think sucking mutton bone marrow from a straw is supremely gross.

today i must swear off going out with my friends cos it's family day. and mainly cos i need to read my final theory which i am so convinced i'm going to fail this wednesday.
