hell i caught a cold. it must be the weather. now i'm fretting how i'm gonna do my guard duty on friday cos i do want to do it but i don't know if i can prowl 3 hours straight, climbing upslope and down, when i'm feeling so damn drowsy and sick and terrible. shit man. need to get better soon.

this is supposed to be the update on the previous post, which didn't happen yesterday:

last tuesday, i met up with alvin c and chin chong, a long lost friend way back from pri4. it's a small world that they were secondary school classmates. had dinner at thomson plaza's da pai dang which is somehow related to mouth kitchen. anyway it was a bit expensive and the food was alright but nothing to rave about = not going back anytime so soon. chatting with alvin, it just dawned on me how fast time has passed..it has been half a year since the group of us were sitting around the benches in the oeti workshop while alvin bemoaned anita mui's death.. i want that kind of slack life again. anyway i returned alvin the 90 bucks i owed him from faye's concert. i've a good mind to chant 'pay-day' everyday until the 10th of august.

guard duty last friday wasn't too bad..i had er as prowling company! at least it wasn't so boring. we chatted a fair bit about life and stuff in general. this friday i'm probably going to be prowling with some rp i don't know as usual. which is plain sian.

on a mundane note, i preordered jay chou's qi li xiang but i don't expect i'll listen to it much. i pray i don't feel as cheated as when i got the previous album.

sandip messaged me on sunday night to tell me he was finally comissioned. seems like he's posted back to bmt. and apparently alpha coy at that. things have come full circle i guess. i still remember us clowning around so much and me telling him i couldn't imagine him being him a pc in that state. ah..
