funny things are happening to my computer.

i've been struggling to restore order since last night after finally installing norton antivirus 2004. and my comp is so lagging so badly it's unbelievable. apparently i got the blaster worm (among others maybe). i don't know if all these nonsense's out of my system yet. this is wasting all my time. help.

i need bread too. lots of it:

last thurs we had sushi at meridien. burning a neat hole in my pocket indeed. accompanied andy and friends as he shopped for an anniversary gift for his gf. he got her a $160+ baby g watch from taka. i wonder when i'll spend like that on someone else other than myself. and i can barely cope taking care of myself. walked around kino and gramophone but got nothing. luckily, in a way.

friday i went with both alvins to sim lim square to get an mp3player. damn frustrating to hear 5 salesmen from different shops saying entirely different things. a shagged-cannot-think me and alvin l got the same not-so-high-end jnc mp3player. that set me back a cool 275 bucks. the worst thing is i haven't had the time or energy to try copying any mp3s over. after a super late dinner we hopped over to ps where i shared a slice of tiramisu with alvin c at baker's inn. acting as if i'm so rich.

and saturday we had steamboat at golden mile. a joint treat by tam, ee and me since our birthdays are pretty close together. it's quite cheap and not too bad at all, gotta go there with my family sometime. played pool but more like made a fool of myself as usal. then moved over to boat quay like illegal immigrants cramped up in andy's van. bummed around till we settled on a ktv lounge. ugh an initial strength of 11 dwindled to just 5 as people left one by one. leaving the 5 of us to sing till 1:45am. alvin didn't bring us to gay taboo in the end. reached home at 3am again. oh no. i don't want to think how much i spent sharing the cost of the food, presents and ktv. help.

much as you're not going to read this, thank you tam and everyone so much for the a museum dvd. what an unexpected surprise present. been feeling melancholic of late..posting out in less than 3 weeks. i know i'm going to miss everyone so so much.

sunday. went to the bodyworlds exhibition at expo with my folks. urgh i wasn't that enthu about it. seeing people sliced up like ham didn't really interest me too much. the giant sale also at the expo was vaguely more interesting, but didn't get any clothes except some grossly outdated books which i don't expect i'll even read. weird i actually got sing to the dawn at $1.90.

well today had dinner with castor and alvin at longhouse. like i say bak chor mee rules. castor left for classes. we finally got our video ez membership chips muahaha. and shared cost renting a few dvds. even though i already have a whole heap of unwatched dvds to watch..

..oh what the heck i need to save money so what the hell am i doing increasing my deficit.

anyway my blog is getting boring, i know it.
